Enjoyed our LANathon last week - and loving Grim Dawn.

I hopped on a bit more over the weekend and got my Soldier build up to level 30. He is kicking of the bottoms. Build looks something like this ATM. Blade Arc being the primary damage dealer and Cadence as LMB backup when Energy is low (or against single target). Blitz as an opener and to get to certain enemies to dispatch them quickly.

I was going to branch off into Occultist to make a Witchblade next. Slung a post up here and here to get some advice.

Yes i really enjoyed Lannathon and Grim Dawn is very good

I am going to re-spec my Soldier as i an a little unhappy with the setup at the moment i think he can be better

Also i will be starting a new character tonight a DPS rouge type

Probably not your cup of tea Greg - it's a Torchlight/Path of Exile/Diablo type game. It is pretty damn awesome though.

So i went with a Demolitionist in the end and got him up to lvl 15 and i have to say very impressed

It is kicking ass and i have a deployable mortar which is nice i am really enjoying this game

Awesome, we shall have to arrange a day in the week that we can both get on for some co-opage on a regular basis.

I am enjoying the Witchblade and really liked the Arcanist that I was playing with you the other day. I didn't think much of the Nightblade, but maybe I simply haven't given it enough time to test it out properly yet. The Demolitionist is pretty cool too. Occultist seemed good for a dip class, but only had 2 pets - I was kind of hoping for more.

I reached the end of Act 3 last night with my Witchblade - around level 35 when I hit the barrier. Absolutely brilliant character to play - can really pack a punch. I was downing enemies 10 levels above me - including bosses without too much trouble.

I was planning on trying out some other classes next.

The Shaman class is quite fun as it happens. I started a new character to test out some of his abilities. Two-handed all the way, with an interesting persistent health buff. Probably will be a great mix with my two-handed cleaving soldier.

I will have a look at the new class when i get a minute but only a quick look will be leaving this until the new act is out great game though

It's quite good - I got to Level 40 last night with my Soldier/Shaman and looking forward to the new content. I did those quests in the area east of Homestead - like you mentioned, along with a secret area in the flooded passage and a new area east of Burrwich - all high level stuff too. I killed a boss monster 7 levels higher than me!

EDIT (26/04/2016): Fixed and changed - Devotion points are all screwy. Goul and Rend might be worth a ganders.

Really getting back into this game again. It's a masterpiece. The build posted above is the "Sorceror" I was playing Meg (roughly anyway). Demolitionist and Arcanist mixed in. It's pure awesomeness.

I did play a bit more of this last night and took the plunge and merged my soldier with a shaman

I like the results he is lvl 40 now i respeced a little bit and got those two buffs active is nice

Good show, I thought you would like that The two mix very well together. Once you start stacking those damage buffs, DPS goes through the roof.

Bit of a shitter that we failed at the last hurdle last night - wasted a Skelly Key on that. I would like to give it another go when you have the time Meg - and hopefully you will be higher level then too. Waddya say?

Yes definately i am already 2 lvl's higher than when we tried.  My health is up from 4000 - 5000 and my dps is up from 1300 - 1700

I made it to Fort Ikon last night so maybe wait till next week and try again i should have time to do a couple more hours before then if i can get up to lvl 45 that would be good

You should look at the devotion stuff i put a load of points in the turtle sign and when that kicks in its like god mode and i take zero damage and bull sign sends my dps and attack speed through the roof when it kicks in plus these skills seem to lvl up not sure what for yet.  There will be signs that help you requires a bit of reading first though

I have already been using devotion stuff since very early level - and yes, some of it is pretty damn good. I got a life steal one, loads of fire damage additions and a defensive one that increases health regen. Think it was Bat, Fiend and Ghoul constellations that I had maxed so far.
