Yes i am allowed to come over for lannage on Friday

So i had better get the game and set it all up i might get the deluxe edition then i can have a go at DMing if i fancy it

Good stuff! yeah get it all installed and linked with the SCL website so you can get headstart access.

Just an FYI: you can still DM with standard, but the deluxe includes an additional tileset, monster and equipment.

Ok so i bought the game but there was a very brief download then nothing and as its not headstart weekend i couldn't start the game so i might have to download it Friday?

I created an account on the SCL website and linked my steam purchase to it anything else i need to do apart from read up on classes and how to play?

Looks like you have it all sorted - linking with the official site is the most important bit, as that gives you the headstart access.

Did you see two "Sword Coast Legends" in your library - one normal one and one that said "Headstart access"? If so, the latter is the one you need. It will only install a launcher, then Friday, as you say, you can get the whole thing. It's about a 4GB download from memory. It normally comes live at 2pm EST - which is 7pm our time.

I am quite active on the main Steam forums and group page - and to a lesser extent on the official forums - but the group page is really where it's at for us.

I did see two copys linked to my account yes one is SCL and the other is SCL Digital Deluxe it doesn't mention head start access maybe it will change on Friday?

Yeah - that's good. But I meant in your Steam library you should see the headstart one (after you performed the link - which looks all good to me).

Ok cool yes i think it did say head start in my steam library and i will check out the forums when i get a minute

Yes my work PC is still running XP there is a viscous rumor i am getting a Win 7 machine in a couple of weeks most other people have but i have heard that before

Also got to try out some of the main campaign this weekend and I must say, it's rather good. This game is definitely my game of the year - it's frelling awesome fun - with so much to do. A massive, decent campaign - playable co-op, the module creation, the DMing, downloading and playing other people's creations - it's superb and I am absolutely loving it.

Jeg have you completed the side mission free the bartender?

I have finished Act 1 but can't find him anywhere?

What does the mission entail? I can't remember for sure - I know I have done a quest for the cook (and he gave me a rolling pin which was actually amazing) and another one from the bartender in the Cutlass, but can't for the life of me remember what it was.

I did do a few missions with Coax on Friday - but it was very late/early and I was very drunk. I had to stop playing when I realised I couldn't read the quest text - so - I *may* have done it then.

Its ok i found him hiding in the dungeon of the Bread Eye chapter house

Have to say i am loving the story so far just cleaned out the Bread Eye chapter house and my fighter is up to lvl 11 and kicking the ass

I haven't done any enhancements to it yet, but I will do as time permits.
