Myself and the good captain tried this out over the internet and it seems to work ok, even with him hosting (once the dreaded VPN was bashed over the head).

I will do later from the perspective of a concerned mother of 4. In the mean time I have just picked up executive assault as the four player aspect already exists.

Yes, I saw you picked this one up - and as I said, I would be interested to know how it compares - since the first-person part of it looks atrocious.

The first person aspect is definitely different. As opposed to controlling one super unit you control any one of the standard units. I belive these are configurable so the ceo could churn out some heavy tank robots or configure them to be light and fast moving for player control. 
The graphics are gash by contrast but I think the scale of the thing should prove interesting.

Well I am sure we will find out. I am certainly not that interested in full-blown RTS-style stuff. If that is the case, the FPS portion of it better be pretty good to warrant me buying it I think.
