I thought i would start a new thread about beerage and lannage as it seems to have been spread over every post lately.

So to keep it simples i will stick when i am free to play here and we can use this thread to organise said beerage person?

Hopefully i will be free towards the end of the month but i am trying to get the house ready for sale so am quite busy at the moment. As soon as i know i will put it on here.

Shiny, keep us posted. How is the house stuff all going then? You found a place yet? Seems like you have been doing the house for ages - surely there can't be much more to do?

I know it does fell like it i am almost done inside then just a couple of jobs outside. However for the outside jobs i need a couple of days good weather which maybe difficult.

No haven't found anywhere yet but haven't really looked need to get mine on the market first but i hope it will be on the market by the end of April then i can start house hunting joy!

So Greg lannage tomorrow night needs to be planned.

I will head over straight from work so will be there about 4.30 is that is cool.

With me will be half bottle of vodka and rum is there anything else you want me to pick up?

I thought we could KSP it up for an hour or so then some Borderlands for a bit then Torchlight maybe?

Take away for dinner?

I will have to check what I have at home and get back to you. Rule of thumb is: just bring whatever you can that will facilitate drinkage.

KSP first sounds like a plan - I am already itching to play it again. What about NWN with that Diablo mod?

I personally think you should buy Garry's Mod and we can begin work on constructing a mile-high structure of a falis, complete with a launcher at the tip that hurls out washing machines.

Ah yes NWN i had completely forgot about that yes will definately have to give that a go.

I will swing by ASDA tonight and get some beer.

Garry's mod will have to be had then if we can make some form of washing machine launcher

Can you still paly though the single player campaign coop? Also is the mod you found where you build a base and try and survive the horde still available?

Yes, you can still play through the campaign COOP and yes that map is still available - along with a lot of new ones. You even have access to an NPC spawner tool, so you can set up your own impossible survival situation in a map of your choosing, such as spawning 50 Striders in a circle around you every second (warning: may break your computer ).

Basically, everything you could do before, you can do now. Plus you have tons more stuff. You can also play on Left 4 Dead, Portal and Counterstrike maps (or pretty much anything that uses the source engine that they have gotten round to making compatible).

I shall be right behind you on that, I loved playing the Highway level making over the top cars. Do you still have to rebuild stuff every time you go through a check point?

Maximus: Brilliant - finally!

Greg: Although going into a new level still makes everything fall apart, you can save your contraptions - so all you need to do is re-spawn it. If you look at the post I linked to earlier, you can see for example, some of the stuff I have saved - which you can share with other players too

Wicked, how do you do these LAN things, do you have to bring a PC / screen to your place Greg or do you have kit in place? Would I be able to join you guys remotely from my place?

I have the screen, keyboard, mouse and network all ready. All you need is the machine. Although I am getting a fully decked-out gaming shed ready this summer - so that will be nothing short of pure awesome!

And you would, of course, be able to join in remotely. With Mumble you could even speak to us.
