Yeah I had no issues at all and was playing most of the evening. Perhaps it is karma - for Greg not playing it - he has somehow infected the game with his lefty ways to cover in his absence. 

By the way, I tried this out in semi-4k last night and it runs smooth as butter and looks frelling gorgeous. Must be a very well written engine, since most new games struggle to keep the FPS up at those kinds of resolutions on my PC.

Heads-up:

I can't remember who it was I was speaking to about this the other night (could have been Meg or G-Man), but the shooting Gallery does nowt. Yep, asked James/John today about that perk and it apparently just opens up another area at your base to go and squeeze off a few rounds. It does not increase any in-game skill (as it would have you believe).

Yes, should be good fun.

I will ask about lannage tonight, although that is the weekend that Emma works (every fortnight - meaning I have the kids) so I will have to see what Emma's shifts are. To be honest, the weekend afterwards would probably be better for me - but I will find out anyway.

Did you see if you can start a little earlier today?

Yeah, it is done on levels. You're gonna have to play single-player on your lonesome before-hand up until about level 12 (I think that's where we are isn't it Meg? - I will double-check for you anyway Greg). Not a bad thing to do anyway, since you will get to grips with it by then. It will probably take about 5-ish+ hours game-time (a guess) to get there, so as I said, you do need to do it BEFORE the gameage.

Also Jeg a load of my old clan mates are playing this so end game we could all group up and play some of the end game big missions.  Not to grind for loot but to play the mission if they are like the main missions in the game could be good fun?

You may be right on the hours there - we have played quite a bit. Shouldn't be too much of an issue for Greg though, especially since we are not playing it this week (we won't be getting further ahead).

An intriguing offer Meg, I will have to see what the end-game is like first though as I am not at all interested in endless grinding for loot in this PVP arena thing. Sounds way too much like MMO raids and all the really REALLY repetitive (and boring as hell) shit that these MMO's do. So, we shall have to wait and see on that one.

I checked this last night and our co-op chars were level 15 Greg - so get to there and we will be golden.

I was not looking to get it until I am paid next week. I think I need to be honest with myself here, I don’t see me putting in 8 hours into a game at the moment as I have a job list as long……a long thing at the moment. I think it might be prudent to sit this one out.

Just in case the tone of this comes across as me being a whining little bitch that is not the intention, just feeling a bit time poor as well as cash poor at the moment.

   Poor Smegularse. So are you NOT going to get it now? I am confused. You should have taken Meg's offer up of buying the game for you - since you wouldn't be as far behind. I did try and warn you about this... and similar to yourself, I am not trying to be a bitch here, simply stating that you were aware of the longer it took you to get the game, the bigger the gap would be.

Given how grindy and repetitive the game is (even now, before the "end-game"), there is little chance of us starting yet ANOTHER (we each already have 2) character. Reasons:

1. Each character is exactly the same (no classes/permanent skills etc.), meaning it's pointless.
2. The game is already really grindy and repetitive as it is - I cannot stomach a third play-though of the same shit.
3. It means our current characters are wasted (and wasted time - a lot of it, I might add) and may as well just be deleted. I personally don't want to do that.
4. You are a lefty fag.

Again, apologise if this came off bitchy - it is not my intent so please don't take it that way.

On another note...

I spoke to John today about the Division's endgame (the Dark Zone) and it sounds like an utterly pointless grindfest to me. Just think of all the worst stuff from every MMO you have played and that's pretty much it. He says there are no missions other than "get the loot, get to the extraction point" - just with the added PvP for flavour. There is also no point to it, other than getting better gear. What do you do with the better gear? More repetitive bore-fest grinding.

As such, looks like I will move on to another game at level 30 (not counting our co-op as I still fully intend to play that with you guys). I will probably have a quick ganders at the dark zone, just to check it out, but it sounds awfully like everything I hate about MMO's - and so if it is indeed the case, I will leave it there.

Yea I think I misjudged how long it would take to catch up, I thought it was only one games night worth. As you say it’s a bit of a void to cross now to catch up, the time it would take realistically I should spend getting the house sorted out. I think I will have to skip it unfortunately.

Yeah, we have had a few nights of it now (and late ones too) as well as the occasional game when we are all on during the week. I think over the Easter break we hammered it quite a bit too.

Getting to level 15 is not an impossible task though Greg. If you focus on main missions and skip the filler content, you could shave some time off. I suppose though, it does all come down to the fact that you have house projects on the go - and no matter what way you cut it, you will need to spend a few hours in it to level up.

If you got the game today, would be able to manage it in a fortnight?

Jeg i agree with your points especially number 4

I won't be starting another character my one and the coop one will be enough as it is a bit grindy.  I just wish games would man up and have lots of individual missions as in this game each area has the same template of side missions having said that the main missions are really good 

The level cap will increase and they have areas of the map to expand into but once i hit 30 i will stop and wait and see.  I won't be grinding the dark zone i did have a little look last night and your right it is grind for better loot.  However there is one angle that may be of interest you can kill other players PVP and become rouge and you get a bounty for killing them

So i thought just to be dicks one night we could go in and kill everyone that is trying to grind for loot

It will be worth having a look at the incursions that are coming out or raids could be good fun with a big group as playing this multiplayer is really good fun and removes a lot of the tediem

Greg do you want me to buy you this game tonight then we could not play are coop characters until you catch up?  Even doing jobs at home should only take you 2-3 weeks and i don't mind waiting as i have my single player character to finish leveling up don't know about the other two PERSON
